The Key to a Successful School District
A successful school district provides a safe, nurturing school environment in which students not only gain knowledge but also learn to think. To accomplish that, the participation of many sectors of our community is required. It is also dependent upon the actions of the school board, administrators, principals, teachers, parents and students.

Monson's Biography
Angela Monson has demonstrated her concern for our children and proven her ability to lead. A previous Education Committee Chair in the Oklahoma State Senate, Angela has worked with children across the spectrum; from those who face a number of major challenges and situations, to those who are self-motivated and focused, with a great support network. Angela's experiences uniquely qualify her to lead Oklahoma City Public Schools Board.
